Hand Foot Mouth Disease

I'm pretty sure that Oliver came down with Hand Foot Mouth disease...and then proceeded to give it to me. Needless to say, it's been a fun week/weekend!

U/S Update

The ultrasound went well. Baby Garrett II (pronounced Baby Garrett the second...it just sounds fancy) was being uncooperative so it took the tech almost an hour. Part way through the scan she asked me if I wanted to know what we were having...uh, yeah...so she said we were having a boy.

Conflicting results anyone? :) I asked the Perinatologist if this was possible and he did say yes, but he also thought his daughter was a boy at 12 weeks...so we'll have to wait and see!!

On one hand, a girl would be nice, but on the other hand, a boy means much less redecorating... :)

Since the scan took so long, I had pregnancy brain and completely forgot to get a picture...UGH!

The anatomy scan is October 5th...so we'll have to wait and see for sure! But...Jason and I are going to have to work on boy names just to be prepared... :)

U/S tomorrow!

I am going to Sparrow tomorrow afternoon for the NT scan which can help diagnose several abnormalities in Baby Garrett II. I'm going to the same doctor we went to last time and he's wonderful!

Hopefully everything will be good and I'll have updated pictures of Baby Garrett II tomorrow!

Intelligender and Best Baby Gender Tests say....

GIRL! Let's see if they are right! About another 6 weeks now!! Intelligender was correct for Oliver, but the results can be quite inconclusive! Just some baby fun :)

Camping with the DeZess Family

Last weekend we went on our now annual camping trip with the DeZess family! We went to Oak Grove Resort in Holland. It was a small but very nice campground! We managed to get a big corner lot so we had plenty of room to spread out!


On Friday afternoon we went to Lake Michigan. Odie's first trip to the "Big Lake"! He had a great time playing on the beach even though he wasn't quite sure of it...

He would wait for a wave to reach him...

and run away!!
During Odie's nap, Scott and Jason went to buy Maddie a new Princess Bike! Odie was very interested in helping with the assembly!
We all went around the park several times so the kids could ride!and last but not least...the kids got ice cream with their PJ's on!!

The Big Announcement!

I imagine that almost everyone has heard that we are finally expecting our second child! After 15 months of fertility treatments, we finally found the right combination!

Baby Garrett II is due February 24th, 2011.
