His first day at preschool!

Oliver went to preschool/daycare for the first time on Tuesday! We wanted him to have some interaction with other children, so he will now be attending Little Rainbows twice a week!

I went to pick him up and they said he ate all his meals, took his nap, and never even cried all day...why can't he do that at home?? sigh.

We were happy to know he enjoyed himself. The ladies in the toddler area said he woke up and gave them all kisses after his nap. He's such a sweetie when he wants to be...(Insert temper tantrum here) :)

Father's Day Weekend

Father's Day weekend was another beautiful weekend, minus the few passing storms. We spent the weekend at the Dutch Rd. campground and visited Martha and Duffy for Julie's 30th birthday party on Saturday afternoon! Odie wasn't too much of a fan of the pool yet, but we're working on him!

He had a great time regardless of how many times we tried to put him in the pool :) He made a new best friend......and discovered that he loved watermelon!
He spent his time at Grandma and Grandpa's playing in his vintage sandbox, a Spongebob sprinkler and sidewalk chalk...not to mention one of his favorites, the playhouse.

It's not camping without donuts and cartoons for breakfast! Yum!

A few pics from the weekend...

Mom and Dad came up for dinner at Flap Jack's...Oliver didn't bring his A game, but he did eat some food in between tossing bacon into Grandpa's water glass...ha ha.

When we came back to the house, he thought Agnes and Olive's dog cage was sooooo much fun!

My little Spaz!

I think Grandma Garrett sent him home tonight on crack!

The Dogs are Stars!!!

Can't forget that Grandma and Grandpa Feazel, Aunt Julie, Odie and myself escorted Olive, Agnes, Daisy, Morgan and Francine in the Woofer walk last Saturday!

Here's the video! Daisy's pulling Morgan in a cart! The dogs are all wearing their hot pink "Fam" shirts :)

The new back yard...

So...the Golab's have inspired me to turn part of the back yard into a play area. Well, last weekend Jason and Grandpa Garrett hauled mulch and we've got a start to a wonderful play area!
Jason went to Meijer and purchased a climber for Odie to play with...which he liked...only after we hid the enormous box it came in... :)

If you look closely...Odie's hiding in the box :)

Now that the box has been taken away...Odie's playing on the slide!

The Newest Golab!

Last Friday, the Garrett Family drove over to Corunna to see the newest Golab: Cooper James!

While we were there, we went to a parade...and I'll tell you, I now believe that the reason for silly parades is to keep your children entertained for an extended amount of time! All the kids had a wonderful time watching all the people. Oliver got beads, a balloon animal (from a creepy woman who nagged us until we donated a dollar) and eventually ice cream! I tell you, if that doesn't make a bad teething day better, I don't know what does!!

I've stolen a Cooper picture from Sara's FaceBook account:And here's a pic that Sara took of me and Odie at the parade!

Memorial Day a Blast!

Memorial Day had to have been the best weather ever! It was our first real trip in our camper and everything worked wonderfully! Oliver slept well, which means Mom and Dad slept well!

The water was warm so we all had our feet in all weekend. Oliver loved the water until he had a little mishap and went under for a moment...after that you couldn't get his toes wet without him crying! Hopefully he's over it by 4th of July! Hopefully I can find him a life vest that's a little more comfortable too.

Of course...some pictures!

Sprinkler Time!

Captain Uncle Jeff is the best!Ohhh...the water is fun! (Pre-incident)
Hi!
My quad?
Temper Tantrum...lol

A Visit with the Golabs!

Oliver and I went over and visited the Golab clan a few Sundays ago. It was nice outside and the kids had a great time playing in the Golab Outdoor Wonderland... :) That's at least what I think Odie thinks of it! It made me think of doing some things with our back yard... :)
Here's a few cell phone pics.

Lovin' the sandbox!

ooohhh...TV! Cinderella!!
