Odie likes playing with toys!

Here's Oliver sitting in his bumbo...He is having a good old time playing with some toys.

He really wants to eat the toy Aunt Saundra gave him, but alas, it is too big...he is not happy about that....

I think I feel....a tooth!

Apparently teething is what every parent thinks is going on around this time...even if it isn't...but I do contest that that is exactly what is going on...

Not only does the Orajel stop the crying, when I feel his gums, there's something sharp in the side of his scar (from his neo-natal tooth). I'm pretty darn sure there wasn't anything sharp in there before...or at least there shouldn't be...

but we'll see if anything pops out...hopefully it will soon and Oliver won't be so sore....poor bub.

I'm excited for him to try bananas tomorrow. He has been scarfing down the carrots these past few days :)

Oliver's 4 (almost 5) Month Appt!

Jason and I took Oliver to his 4 (almost 5) month appointment yesterday. He is definitely a growin' boy!

He now weighs 16lbs 12oz and is 26.25 inches long :)

The Dr. thinks he has ring worm on his scalp, so we are putting some anti-fungal cream on the spot.

We're also trying a better-tasting reflux medicine to see if he will drink it better than the Zantac.

Everything else went great! Dr. Hart put him on his stomach and he looked in the mirror, smiled, and rolled over! :)

Green Beans...not so much

So, Oliver is not a fan of green beans...but, since you're supposed to give them an item for 3 days in a row, I have to find some way to get him to eat them...

He tolerated me mixing them into his sweet potatoes, so we'll have to see if that works tonight too. :)

Tomorrow is his 4 month check...we'll have tons of questions for the Dr. and he'll get some shots...poor Odie.......thank God for Tylenol!

I roll over!!!

YAY! Oliver officially rolled over on Saturday!!! He rolled over once, and then again....and then...no more.... :( It was almost like...okay I did it...leave me alone!

Since there was no one else around to witness this event...Olive and Agnes were calling me a liar...but alas, Daddy saw him roll over twice on Sunday!!!

I kept trying to video tape the whole thing on my cell phone and he would have nothing to do with that!

Solids! Sweet Potatoes here we come!

So, starting last week, Odie started eating sweet potatoes! At first he wasn't too sure about it, but by the next night he was eating the entire tub!


We have since decided to take his clothes off before dinner...ha ha ha.

And, Grandma and Grandpa Feazel thought Odie needed a little sun protection...so here's Odie in his new hat... :)

4 Month Pictures

Oliver had his 4 month pics taken on Friday....what an ordeal!!

He had a huge meltdown in the studio...along with several other children, but we managed to get some good pics anyways :)

Afterward, the three of us took a nice long stroll in the beautiful weather! We met up with Oliver's favorite gal, Maddie, and enjoyed the sunshine!

4 Months Today

Well...Oliver is now 4 months old....where does the time go??

We don't have our appointment until the 16th, but Jason weighed him this morning, before breakfast, and he weighed in at 15lbs, 8oz!!!

Other than that, he's doing well. I'm desperately trying to get him to roll over, but the boy just isn't interested :)
