Let's PARTY! Grandma and Grandpa Young's 50th Anniversary!

The Happy Couple!!!

Last weekend was another busy one! We went up to Grandma and Grandpa's Thursday night after work to get ready for the big shindig! Along with the usual players, my cousins Sara, Blake and the kids, as well as my Aunt Lori and Uncle Jim came up on Friday...and then my other cousins Greg and Ashlee came up on Saturday. Along with Shelly's friends Gina and Nancy...we had a full house!

View from the road!

We had a great time hanging out between cleaning up and decorating the hall. The weather wasn't the best, but we enjoyed ourselves anyways!

Another Busy Weekend Indeed!

It was another busy weekend for the Garrett Family! Saundra, Adam and Evan came home to visit! The kids had a great time playing!

We went to the balloon jubilee on Friday, but unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating, so after a couple of bounces and a pony ride for Evan, we were on our way.

On Saturday we were all over at Terry and Linda's (Grandpa and Grandma Garrett) for a cook-out with Jason's cousins: Sue, Vin and the kids Bella and Allie; as well as Uncle Bob and Aunt Bettie.

We also got to see a few friends, Ericka and Jason and their little babe, Keegan, who's just 2 months younger than Oliver.

Allie and Bella (thanks to Sue!) had a neat little face painting kit...so us girls all got cute pictures on our hands and Jason...well....

As for Oliver, he's doing great! He's been army crawling and rolling around the living room...I found him eating a dead ant on Sunday...something I am CONVINCED he learned from his cousin Evan...ha ha ha...He also is eating many solid foods like macaroni and cheese and green bean tidbits, which is great since he hated the baby food version of them.

We have a busy summer ahead, so I'm sure you'll see lots more pictures! Next we're getting ready for the big 50th Anniversary party for my Grandparents up north in Irons this Saturday. I can't wait until we have it decorated and all set up so we can just party!

A Wonderful 4th of July!

Our vacation started off with a wonderful visit from Blake, Sara, Alexis and Beckham. We had a wonderful time hanging out and eating pizza. Odie has dubbed Alexis the "Texas Tornado"! She managed to get Oliver's rocking chair out of the corner of his room and into the family room without hitting anything and without anyone noticing...he he...Sara and Blake definitely have their work cut out for them!

Cousin Beckham....having fun in Odie's Rocking Chair (thanks to Lexi who brought it out!)

Our Little Texas Tornado...Cousin Lexi!

Oliver's first 4th of July went off with a bang...literally...even though he slept through most of the fireworks...he he. He tried really hard to stay awake, but sleep won!

We spent our time playing in the lake and taking all of Grandma Young's money playing cards :)

This weekend, Odie has decided that he likes hard foods like puffs and yogurt melts. We also cut out a bottle, so he's eating around 12 oz of food a day now too. He's also semi-crawled a few times...so it's definitely time to buy the baby gate :)

I have a million pics on Snapfish, but here are just a few of our wonderful weekend...

Grandpa's orange hat sure is funny!!

Yay! Water!
