The Big Day!

The Big Day is this Friday...is Oliver getting a little brother or a little sister??

Jason and I are leaning towards a little brother since the U/S tech was pretty sure at 12 weeks, but we are refraining from any decisions until Friday morning!

Spencer or Mabel? We'll have to get Oliver to practice :) Right now he just points to my belly and says "baby"...which is really cute...until he points at my boobs and says the same thing...somehow I think he's missing the point!

It's a Beautiful Day for Football!

Oliver went to his first game of the season on Saturday! He had a great time. It was a little chilly, but he was distracted by cotton candy and Aunt Shelly's popcorn.

He enjoyed bouncing and dancing to all of the band and stadium music. He made sure he hugged everyone, including the lady who sits in front of us...

GO GREEN!

Clapping for the team!

Enjoying the game with Aunt Shelly and Aunt Nancy!

He didn't even make it home...

Oliver's Big Day!

Oliver had a very busy day planned last Friday with Mom and Grandma! The day started out with a haircut from our favorite stylist, Sunshine! Oliver sat in the chair all by himself and enjoyed getting his new do!
All Ready!

My new do!Shortly after we went to see the dentist Dr. Jake! Oliver let Dr. Jake clean his teeth and even got a fluoride treatment! Oliver is a little short on teeth, but Dr. Jake said that they would come when they were ready!

After the dentist Oliver went to lunch at the Olive Garden and had a great time flirting with the girl at the next table.

We rounded out the day with a trip to Kohl's for some new shoes! Oliver picked out a few pair and has worn them day and night ever since!

And finally, he fell asleep even before we left the parking lot! Whew! I've never been so proud of him!

Happy Birthday Mom!

The BIG 50!!

Vacation at Waffle Farms!

So, we all survived our week long camping trip at Waffle farms last week! No major slips, trips or falls for Oliver! The weather was great and we spent many hours walking the dogs and playing on the teeter-totter. Oliver absolutely loved it and would point to all 4 seats and tell you to get on! I managed to get enormously lucky as Oliver slept until at least 9 AM every day...which as most of you know is a small miracle!

We, of course, went to Allen one day for antiquing and came back quite disappointed. Luckily one of the store's workers told us about another town, Angola, IN. We went to the first few shops and again I was disappointed. My mother, always determined to find something, was a little more optimistic. BUT...there was one more place to stop...and it was WONDERFUL!!

It was an enormous building filled with pristine American primitives...it was like a museum! Of course, pristine antiques accommodate pristine prices, but we managed to find a few things for our birthdays! It's only 88 miles from Lansing, so I can't wait to go back!

As always, the campground was full of interesting things to look at as well and we spent the majority of the week there enjoying the scenery.

Pictures to follow on the post below!
