Countdown to Vacation!

On Thursday, the Garrett's are heading to Washington! Well, Virginia...but close enough!

Oliver will get to spend the week with his cousin Evan.

Let's hope:
1) That we get there in one piece, with as few temper tantrums as possible
2) That we get some sleep while we are there...since Oliver thought 1 AM was play time during our last visit!

I'm sure we'll have lots of wonderful pictures to share when we get done!

Another Fun Weekend!

Oliver has continued down his "big boy" path, insisting he knows how to eat applesauce all by himself..
He has then decided that anything and everything is there for him to play in :)

and finally...he hit his eye on the coffee table...it's been moved back against the wall again...
Poor little guy...he only cried for a few minutes, so it must look worse than it is. He looks just like daddy did after he fell off Aunt Saundra's roof... :)

I'm a Big Boy!

Yesterday, I came home to this:

He passed out on Dad and slept through the dogs barking holy hell when I pulled in the driveway...no wonder I found him playing in his crib after 30 minutes past bedtime...
He was sitting there pushing all of Scout's buttons. When I came into the room he scooted across the crib trying to act all innocent. So, he's trying to pull a fast one on me already! Not like I couldn't hear Scout talking to him through the monitor...but he must not have caught on to that yet...

At dinner he INSISTED that he fork his own Beefaroni into his mouth. INSISTED being that he screamed bloody murder if you tried to take the fork away from him. This is what we ended up with:
This is Odie's Cheeser Smile!
Needless to say, he didn't get a whole lot of food, just sauce, and that pretty much got everywhere. But he was so darn proud of himself. :)

Easter Fun!

We all went up to Jeffrey's to celebrate Easter and unfortunately watch MSU lose :(

Mom brought buckets of candy and we all had a great time. Odie got an Easter basket full of goodies, including sunglasses and a very large rabbit we named Roger. I know, not too original, but we're running out of names in the stuffed animal department!

Look at me in my Elmo sunglasses!

I'm going to get you Roger!!!

We spent the following weekend with Great Grandpa and Grandma Young since we had tickets to A Chorus Line. It was warm, but windy, but we still had some time to play outside!

Sitting in Grandma Feazel's matching chair she made him!

Hermie...why don't you have any water in your tub??

Time for some outdoor fun!

We've all been enjoying the great weather! Oliver's been on several walks up and down the street. He always has to pick up one rock and place it in the mailbox before we go inside...I know... a little OCD...just like how he has to shut every door as he walks down the hall. :)
He's real big on hugs and kisses now too. He runs back and forth from me and Jason giving hugs and kisses...it's too cute.He also has 5 teeth coming in. 2 molars have broken the surface with 3 more coming. Mommy never leaves home without the Tylenol and the Motrin...we're double packing just in case :)
Here are a few pictures from his recent stay at Grandma and Grandpa Garrett's. He is so determined to get that tricycle where he wants it...we've got a stubborn one- just like his mommy and daddy!

Opening his Easter basket with Grandpa Garrett
Oh...what's this? It makes music!!BUBBLES!!!!!
I'm concentrating really hard to get this bike to move! How bout this way?
Okay...this way!
