Oliver's First Field Trip!

Oliver and Dad went to the pumpkin patch with the Little Rainbows Preschool!

It was Oliver's first field trip. Even though the weather was cold and rainy, he had a great time picking pumpkins and feeding the animals. He was very excited to tell me that Daniel rode in the car with him and Dad. Specifically, that, "Daniel's nice, Mom. Daniel's not mean." So way to go Daniel's parents- whoever you are :)

A Neverending Cold...

Both boys have been snot factories for over 10 days...took Spencer to the Dr to be told, "It's just a cold"...poor little bugs. Binkies and snot do not go together!

He was up to 16 lbs, so at least he's growing!

Pumpkin Picking!!

Oliver went to the Dutch Rd Pumpkin Patch again!

Whew! That was hard work!!

Last Weekend Up North!

We went up north for the weekend so the boys could have one last chance to go four-wheeling.

The rest of us spent the weekend watching football by the fire...in our new PJ's!!

From Bad to WORST!

Bad: Waking up at 4 AM to Francine puking on the floor
Worse: Noticing that she puked on the bed
Worst: Realizing that Spencer has been sleeping in it...

Leslie's 175th!

Oliver is featured in the Leslie Guardian!

What a busy weekend! We all spent the weekend in Leslie for the many festivities. A football game on Friday night, a parade and festival all day Saturday, and then a reunion Saturday night.GOOO BLACKHAWKS!!

Oliver was in the parade and won the best wagon in his age group :)

Then we all changed into some period clothing for the afternoon and played with the Golab crew.

Oliver made sure that he left time to go on an elephant ride with Grandpa Charlie!

The night ended with Aunt Christa watching all 5 kiddos and us adults going to the all-classes reunion. All in all, it was an eventful weekend!

The Toledo Zoo

Oliver and I had a great time at the Toledo Zoo with Aunt Julie and her friends Megan and Jacquelyn!

The temperature was cool, but it was just perfect for a day with the animals :)

Go Green!

Oliver's first MSU Football game of the season! With tomorrow being the 10 year anniversary of 9/11, it brought back many memories of my time in the MSU Marching Band. Every day that week we met, played the Star Spangled Banner, and went home. I hope some day I can adequately express to my children what a tragedy like that does to you and how important it is to never forget the importance of every human life.

Besides the somber occasion, the game itself was fun and we enjoyed cheering with Sparty, eating popcorn and cotton candy :)
